Canadian Kelp Resources responds to COVID-19

We continue to follow BC Provincial food-handling regulations.  When we handle kelp or package your order, we thoroughly clean our hands and disinfect all tools and working surfaces before and after use. For personnel safety, only one employee is present in the packaging room at any one time.  Our harvesting and processing team have always been dedicated to providing high quality products and following safe food handling procedures, this time is no exception and we will continue to remain vigilant.

CKR sales are down due to loss of the hotel and restaurant business. Rather than layoff staff, we are using this time to perform maintenance to our facilities to support our harvest season.  We will vigorously and sustainably pursue the 2020 harvest season. We appreciate your continued support of our kelp products.

On a personal note, my wife Rae and I are well, but due to our age, remain in semi-isolation. We hope you and yours are well and in good spirits.
