Processing
All kelp processing is conducted in a government-licensed facility - the only licensed sea vegetable processing facility in western Canada. Cleaned plants for sheet kelp are variously air dried in the sun and our curing shed, depending upon the desired product. The kelp flakes are sun cured, oven roasted, stone ground and sifted to assure top quality flakes. Scrupulous care is taken to assure a clean, wholesome product. Our kelp products are just kelp, nothing is added.
